Laura Ezzell is an associate attorney with Chester Law Office. Laura graduated from Purdue University in 1986. She earned her law degree from Valparaiso University in 2002, with a concentration in labor and employment law. Laura was admitted to the Indiana bar in 2003.
During law school, Laura completed an externship with the Labor Relations Department at Inland Steel in East Chicago, Indiana, where she participated in matters related to worker contracts, attended arbitrations and researched employment practices. Laura also worked as a paralegal at Chester Law Office prior to attending law school. This non-traditional path has provided Laura with a unique perspective to the practice of law. In addition to personal injury litigation, Laura’s practice includes estate administration, real estate and business law.
Laura is a member of the American Immigration Lawyers Association, Indiana Trial Lawyers Association and the American Association for Justice. She is also a member of the Elkhart City Bar Association (Secretary, 2011), and the Indiana State Bar Association. She is also active in the Elkhart community. Laura is a member of Elkhart Noon Rotary, a C.A.R.E.S. mentor and she is on the Elkhart Central High School Dollars for Scholars Board of Directors.
Laura lives in Elkhart with her husband. They have three children.
